Staffordshire: A Place to Celebrate Conference

** Bookings for this event are now closed **

In 2020, Staffordshire was a drive-through destination; a place jam-packed with assets, brands and history, but with no outward looking story to stand behind. With the commitment to be brave and bold,  businesses and the public sector came together to develop a new approach to put our county on the map and change perceptions.

Three years later and we’ve made huge strides against our mission; A Place to Celebrate is an opportunity to thank you – our partners, Ambassadors and our funders – for all that we have collectively achieved.

In our first ever conference: A Place to Celebrate, we’ll be looking back at our impact over the last three years and setting the scene for what you can expect as we embark on our next exciting chapter.

But whilst we love shouting about We Are Staffordshire, we also want to add value – to give you an opportunity for learning, networking and sharing best practice.

We’ll be bringing national experts in place marketing, regeneration and place shaping together to explore the opportunities and challenges, as well as a series of breakout sessions so that you can choose the session most relevant or of most importance to you and your work.

His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire Mr Ian Dudson, CBE KStJ

Professor Martin Jones, Vice-Chancellor, Staffordshire University

Louisa Shaw, Head of Place Marketing, We Are Staffordshire

Hannah Ault DL, Place Board Chair, We Are Staffordshire
