Staffordshire Ambassador Event
The Staffordshire Ambassador Network brings organisations and individuals together across the county to put Staffordshire on the map. We have an amazing story to tell, and such a lot to be proud of, but we all need to talk the place up, celebrate our successes; together we need to act as ambassadors for Staffordshire and get our story out there.
Join us in the newly opened Goods Yard neighbourhood as we mark a major milestone in Stoke-on-Trent’s history — its Centenary year. This special Staffordshire Ambassador event invites organisations and individuals from across the city and wider county to come together to support Stoke-on-Trent’s 100 year celebrations as we explore its rich heritage and plans for an exciting future.
Together, we’ll explore how Stoke-on-Trent is re-writing its story through regeneration, creativity and community pride.
What to expect:
- Spotlight on Ceramics: Discover how Stoke-on-Trent’s world-famous ceramics heritage continues to shape the city’s present and future.
- Centenary Celebrations: Hear how the city has marked its 100th year — and the legacy it’s continuing to build.
- Regeneration & Place-Making: Learn how transformative projects are shaping and creating thriving places across Stoke-on-Trent.
- Creative Recognition: Insights into the city’s journey toward World Craft City Status, its UNESCO Creative Cities application and the exciting cultural events taking place including the British Ceramics Biennial (BCB) and Ceramics Symposium.
