A PLACE TO FILM
Staffordshire welcomes all levels of production to our glorious county! We are home to cities and towns of period and contemporary ages, plus our famous woodlands and greenspaces, amongst other types of locations. We can help with productions in different eras, countries, or even worlds and planets.
Whilst we do not currently operate a ‘Film Office’ service or have a dedicated Film Officer, we will do whatever we can to help and understand your needs further.
Staffordshire County Council owns and manages a plethora of property. Please email hello@wearestaffordshire.co.uk if you have a certain location-style in mind and we will see if we have anything that could work within the portfolio of property.

Did You Know?…
Where possible, we can also support with road closures across our county. Staffordshire County Council manage the highway network across the county – including the districts and boroughs of Cannock Chase, East Staffordshire, Lichfield, Newcastle-under-Lyme, South Staffordshire, Stafford, Staffordshire Moorlands and Tamworth.
If there is a highway in any of these places that you’d like to enquire about closing, please contact trafficandnetwork@staffordshire.gov.uk and give as much lead-in time as you can.
Please note that car parks, parking bays and bay suspensions are handled locally in each of district and borough. We will require RAMS and PLI at your earliest convenience, and a rundown of your production’s narrative where possible too.

We are a proud member of the Filming in England Partnership.
Creative England’s Filming in England Team launched the Filming in England Partnership in October 2020, which aims to connect different organisations across England, outside of London, who work to support feature and HETV productions and ensure a film-friendly production environment.
