Burtons barrel sculptures auction to fund a permanent art installation in the town

More than a dozen barrel sculptures put on show in Burton over the summer are to be auctioned off!

After an incredible 10-week sculpture trail, Making Trails are thrilled to invite you to the Burton Barrel Roll Auction a night of art, excitement, and celebration!

On Tuesday, 22nd October at the Brewhouse Arts Centre, right in the heart of Burton upon Trent Making Trails will be hosting an unforgettable evening. Starting at 7 PM, enjoy a welcome reception with drinks and canapés while you marvel at the one-of-a-kind barrel sculptures that have brightened the town.

Throughout the evening, you’ll have the chance to bid on these stunning artworks, participate in a lively trail quiz, and be a part of a special presentation. With a reserve price of £400 per barrel, the bidding is sure to be fierce—so come ready to compete!
