Rediscover Lichfield guided tours

Visit Lichfield’s guided tours are starting up again, so small Covid-secure groups can rediscover Lichfield’s fascinating history.

The socially distanced ‘bubble’ guided tours offer family and friends groups the chance to find out more about Lichfield’s historic streets, buildings and personalities.

The tours, which are available from today (Monday 17 May), can be booked for a time and date that suits the tour-goers.

Councillor Iain Eadie, Cabinet Member responsible for Tourism at Lichfield District Council, said:

“I’m really pleased to see people able to rediscover some of our city tours and just in time for half term. It’s another step along the way to getting back to things we enjoyed before the pandemic.

“The tours are a fantastic way to find out about Lichfield’s history and heritage, from Civil War sieges to genius Georgians, there is much to discover!”

A 90-minute tour for up to five costs £30 and can be booked by calling Visit Lichfield on 01543 308924.

Visit Lichfield’s full programme of tours is expected to start up again in stage 4 of the roadmap, which is no earlier than 21 June 2021.
