Staffordshire Founder Brings National Wellbeing Movement Home to Stoke-on-Trent

ST25 – The Corporate Well-being Experience lands at the Bet365 Stadium on 16 April 2026

When Staffordshire entrepreneur Evelyn Howe attended a major wellbeing conference in London hosted by Healf, she didn’t expect a passing comment to change her direction.

“Someone asked where I was from. When I said Staffordshire, they replied, ‘Oh… nothing really goes on up there.'”

That moment stayed with her.

Back home, the picture she found was one that demanded a response. Public health data from Stoke-on-Trent City Council showed that healthy life expectancy in parts of the city remains among the lowest in the country. Conversations with businesses across the county revealed growing pressure around workforce stress, leadership fatigue and retention. The gap between the national conversation on performance and wellbeing and what was being offered regionally was stark.

“If conversations about high performance and sustainable wellbeing are happening in London, why not here?” Eve says.

Rather than simply acting on instinct, Eve took her idea to a Staffordshire Chambers Expo event at Uttoxeter Racecourse, where she posed three questions to local business owners to test her assumptions. More than 20 businesses expressed clear interest in a corporate wellbeing experience — the validation she needed to move forward with confidence.

Her experience of a fascia movement workshop delivered by Human Garage — a global organisation on a mission to help heal one billion people through accessible movement — showed her what becomes possible when world-class expertise meets practical, grounded delivery. She returned to Staffordshire with a clear sense of what the region deserved.

Her response was bold: book the Bet365 Stadium.

On 16 April 2026, ST25 – The Corporate Well-being Experience will bring together business leaders, wellbeing specialists and regional organisations for a one-day event designed to shift the conversation — and the outcomes — for Staffordshire’s workforce.

Experts in sleep science, stress physiology, AI and human-centred leadership will offer practical tools that organisations can apply immediately. And for every ticket sold, a self-led wellbeing programme will be gifted to a Staffordshire school, connecting business performance directly to community health.

“Staffordshire has the talent and the ambition,” says Eve. “ST25 is about building the platform here.”

ST25 is more than an event. It is a statement that Stoke-on-Trent and the wider county are ready to lead on the issues that matter most to the future of work — and that the region’s people and businesses deserve access to the same quality of thinking available anywhere in the country.

ST25 – The Corporate Well-being Experience takes place on 16 April 2026 at the Bet365 Stadium, Stoke-on-Trent.
