New company strides ahead with new client base

A Staffordshire based start-up business  is fulfilling its growth ambitions following work with Morgan Sindall Infrastructure ’s Magnor Plant team.

Stride Revive is the brainchild of former corporate sales specialist and entrepreneur Evelyn Howe and complements her existing life coaching business.

The walking-based business sets out to educate people about the healing benefits walking can have physically, emotionally and mentally.

The Magnor Plant team reached out to Evelyn following an existing client recommendation to help them with their annual team wellbeing programme.

She devised an initiative that included daily challenges tailored to the team, including brisk walking routines, hydration tips and nutritional guidance.

Alongside the bespoke programme, Evelyn was tasked with raising money for Cancer Research UK and immediately set to the task by starting a Just Giving page which went on to raise a significant amount of money.

Jonathan Hall, Plant and Transport Director for Magnor Plant said: “The team wholeheartedly embraced the wellbeing programme from the very start, striving to improve their habits whilst raising funds for an important cause.

“Throughout the two-week programme, everyone was fully engaged, sharing their progress and encouraging one another through a dedicated WhatsApp group.

“This programme truly fostered team spirit and motivation, I highly recommend the Stride Revive programme.”

Evelyn said: “My mission for Strive Revive is to empower sedentary workers to thrive by integrating wellness into their everyday lives and the Magnor Plant team demonstrated how this is achievable.

“Everyone embraced the programme I devised working collectively towards similar goals and really put their all into it. My approach emphasises mastering mindset and resilience, as well as fostering both physical and mental well-being, resulting in dynamic, goal-oriented outcomes.

“At the end of the initiative, not only had the wellbeing and lifestyles of those involved improved it had also brought them closer as a team due to the social connections made outside of the standard workplace environment.”

The business has several strands including a WhatsApp group, organised walks and collaborations with local authorities and organisations such as the Staffordshire Moorlands Walking Festival.

Looking ahead, Stride Revive is set to expand its reach, offering customisable wellness programmes to businesses across Staffordshire and beyond, ensuring wellbeing becomes a cornerstone of workplace culture.
