NSCG Creative Arts students shine at end of year exhibition

Last week, Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG) Creative Arts students showcased their talent at the end of year exhibitions at both the Newcastle and Stafford campuses.

The exhibition, titled ‘SHOW’, encompasses all creative subjects from the college’s Creative Arts faculty including Art & Design, Graphic Design, Games Art, Animation and Concept Art, Photography and Digital Media, Fashion and Textiles and Foundation Diploma in Art and Design.

The students’ work has been inspired by a wide variety of subjects including music, film, nature and sustainability.

Taking place at the end of last week, the opening nights of the exhibitions saw family, friends and special guests gather to explore the displays of work, and they were also treated to a fashion show and awards ceremony to celebrate the student’s success.

‘SHOW’ at Newcastle College is open to the public until Friday 27th June during the following times:

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday: 10am – 5pm

Tuesday: 10am – 7pm

Friday: 10am – 4pm

‘SHOW’ at Stafford College is open to the public until Thursday 26th June during the following times:

We’re incredibly proud of the talented students here at NSCG, many of whom are set to make their mark in the UK’s creative industries. This end-of-year showcase is a brilliant opportunity for students to share their achievements, present their creative work to the wider community and celebrate their exciting next steps- from progressing to university to continuing their studies on higher-level courses with us.”

NSCG offers numerous Art, Design and Media courses at various levels, including A Levels, vocational qualifications and apprenticeships targeted to schools leavers and university level courses targeted to adults. Find out more here.
