NSCG achieves ‘Outstanding’ across all areas of provision following Axia Solutions’ Ofsted Success

Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG) is delighted to announce that Ofsted now rates all aspects of its education and training provision ‘Outstanding’. This follows the recent inspection of Axia Solutions, the Group’s dedicated training provider for apprenticeships and workplace learning, which also achieved the top grade in every inspection area.

NSCG, which was awarded ‘Outstanding’ in October 2024, now operates as a fully ‘Outstanding’ group, offering exceptional education from its college campuses and through its specialist training provider. This collective achievement highlights the Group’s unwavering commitment to providing high-quality, relevant, and impactful learning opportunities for students, apprentices, and employers across the region.

The recently published Ofsted report for Axia Solutions highlighted the provider’s exceptional standards, noting that apprentices “thrive and they feel highly valued, supported and well cared for.” The report also praised the team of industry-expert trainers who help apprentices “quickly apply their learning,” and commended the expertly sequenced curriculums that contribute to very high achievement and attainment rates.
