World of Wedgwood have announced that they’ll be appearing in Celebrity MasterChef 2025, Season 20. The episode airs on Monday 15th December 2025 at 9pm on BBC One and marks the start of Finals Week.

During the episode, the remaining five celebrity contestants-  led by Cherish Finden, one of the world’s leading pastry chefs- take over the Wedgwood Tea Room at World of Wedgwood to serve afternoon tea on iconic Wedgwood tableware collections, Renaissance and Gio Gold.

Guests served by the celebrity contestants include Wedgwood Ornamenter and Figure Maker, Isabella McGough, Chief Curator of the V&A Wedgwood Collection, Catrin Jones, along with potter Florian Gadsby, ceramicist Hitomi Hosono, Councillor Lynn Sharpe, and Wedgwood descendant Simon Wedgwood.

Chief Curator of the V&A Wedgwood Collection, Catrin Jones, says:

“I was delighted to join a group of makers, Wedgwood craftspeople, Stoke luminaries and Wedgwood family members to celebrate 250 years of Wedgwood’s jasperware with a wonderful meal created by the contestants of Celebrity MasterChef. I’m looking forward to seeing if my favourite wins!”

Jonny Shelton, Film Office Manager at our film office, Screen Staffordshire, commented:

“Screen Staffordshire are delighted to have seen MasterChef shoot at World of Wedgwood. In putting historic and unique Staffordshire locations and their stories on screen, nationally-renowned shows like MasterChef bring a real positive energy, economic impact and civic pride to the area’s locality. We hope to see MasterChef back around these parts soon and welcome them with open arms.”

Former Lord Mayor of Stoke-on-Trent and the city council’s Centenary Champion, Councillor Lyn Sharpe, said:

“I love Stoke-on-Trent and I’m proud to help share our story on such a well-loved show in our Centenary year. Josiah Wedgwood shaped this city and his legacy still runs through our city and our people. His drive to try new ideas made us the world capital of ceramics and that spirit still defines Stoke-on-Trent today.”

World of Wedgwood is proud to host Celebrity MasterChef, helping shine a light on the ceramics industry and Stoke-on-Trent’s remarkable heritage. With Wedgwood celebrating 250 years of Jasperware and Stoke-on-Trent celebrating 100 years of official status, it’s the perfect festive viewing for foodies, Wedgwood enthusiasts, and Stokies alike!

This follows World of Wedgwood’s recent television appearance on the Antiques Roadshow.
