KMF Celebrates Strong Ofsted Inspection
Trainers and apprentices from KMF Group are celebrating following their recent Ofsted inspection. KMF was inspected under Ofsted’s new ‘scorecard’ framework which was launched in November 2025.
Apprenticeships Hit High Standards
Celebrations are underway at KMF, having earned the highly coveted Strong Standard in two areas and meeting the high bar of Expected Standard in three areas.
The report describes apprentices making ‘rapid and sustained progress’ throughout the programme. Their work is also described as consistently excellent demonstrating mastery of complex engineering principles.
Leaders and trainers were praised for implementing curriculums that directly meet local and national skills needs, focusing on skills urgently required in the advanced engineering and manufacturing sector.
Apprenticeships Provide Careers and Life Skills

“We are thrilled to have achieved Strong and Expected Standard in all areas of our Ofsted inspection. We set extremely high standards for our apprentices’ behaviour, attendance and participation and to have this recognised by Ofsted is very pleasing for our trainers.
