DJH victorious at Knot a Sports Day 2026

Award-winning accountancy and business advisory firm DJH have been crowned the winners of the third annual Knot a Sports Day.

Staffordshire’s largest team building day saw 24 teams of competitors from businesses across the region descend on University of Staffordshire’s Leek Road campus for a challenging, and fun-packed day.

Knot a Sports Day aims to raise £10,000, which will be split between 10 worthwhile local charities, including Gingerbread Family Support, The Alice Charity, The Hubb Foundation, North Staffs Linkline, Symmetrical North Staffs and AED Donate.

The event itself was a throwback to an old school sports day, with competitors taking part in challenges such as an inflatable obstacle course, go karts, powerball, egg and spoon race, sack race plus a World Cup special penalty shootout.

Fiona Hawkins, managing director of Plinkfizz and one of the event’s organisers, commented,

“We’d like to congratulate the team from DJH for winning the coveted bespoke Knot a Sports Day trophy.

“It was amazing to see so many organisations come together for an unforgettable day and to raise so much money for 10 local charities. We’re counting donations now, and we’re hoping to smash our £10,000 fundraising target.”

“Also, a big thank you to all of our sponsors, we couldn’t do Knot a Sports Day without their support.”
