A Great British Summer of family fun at Lower Drayton Farm
Families are being invited to swap screens for sunshine this summer as PLAY@ Lower Drayton Farm launches its fun-packed Six Weeks of Summer event.
The multi award-winning Staffordshire farm attraction near Penkridge promises a full day of family adventure whatever the weather, with one ticket including everything from animal encounters and farm trailer rides to giant indoor playbarns and acres of outdoor play.
New for 2026, visitors can explore the maize maze and enjoy beautiful wheat field and sunflower displays, while young adventurers can also take on the Woodland Dino Walk and ‘Meet the Machines’ in Farmer Ray’s tractor collection.
Families looking to cool off during the warmer weather can enjoy PLAY@‘s legendary daily foam parties, while the attraction’s brand-new Water Wars area offers another splash-filled way to beat the heat.
As well as the special summer activities, visitors can enjoy everything PLAY@ offers, including giant slides, climbing challenges, zip wires, grass toboggans, go-karts, bouncy pillows and dedicated toddler areas.
Richard Bower, farmer at Lower Drayton Farm, said: “Summer is all about getting children outdoors, making memories and spending quality time together as a family.
“As a working farm, we’re passionate about giving children the opportunity to get out into the countryside, learn about farming and food production, meet our animals and, most importantly, have lots of fun along the way.
“There’s so much included in a visit this summer and we hope families from across Staffordshire and the West Midlands will come and join us. With the government’s summer VAT breaks for families and reduced food costs for children we’re passing the saving on to the customer, making a full day out even better value!”
PLAY@ summer tickets cost just £15.50 per person when booked online in advance or £17.50 on the gate, with children under 2 years visiting free.
Families planning more than one visit can also take advantage of the PLAY@ Summer Pass, which offers up to six visits between the date of purchase and 1st September 2026 for just £33 per person – the equivalent of only £5.50 per visit.
PLAY@ Lower Drayton Farm is located just one mile from Junction 13 of the M6. For more information and to book, visit www.lowerdraytonfarm.co.uk.
