Strong Coffee#1 serves an extra shot at Trentham Shopping Village

After a soft launch, Coffee#1 is now trading very strongly at Trentham Shopping Village, which is their latest opening and 134th fascia in the UK.

The 1,849 sq ft opening, in a prime location within the village, is clearly benefitting from a winning formula that sees the (Caffé Nero-owned) brand offer genuine differentiation.

With authentic storytelling and plenty of local touches, the fit out includes a library and feels perfectly in tune with the customer base and the sociable culture of the wider Trentham destination as a whole.

The successful letting proves that this is fertile ground for operators and retailers alike. Trentham Shopping Village is already home to 16 cafes and restaurants and a key growth area as 60% of social shopping trips are punctuated with a pitstop for food and drink.

Retail is just part of the broad range of attractions across the whole Trentham Estate from award winning gardens, events, live music, nature trails and a flagship 64,749 sq ft Blue Diamond Garden Centre. No matter why visitors come to Trentham, the Shopping Village is perfectly placed to benefit from the footfall as the stores are immediately adjacent to free the car park.

Stacey Finn, Area Manager at Coffee#1, commented:

“We’re thrilled with our opening at Trentham in a lively new neighbourhood. We take pride in providing a cosy space where customers can relax, enjoy delicious food, tempting cakes, and, of course, great coffee.

The new store’s interior is designed with warmth and vibrancy in mind featuring a living-room feel, shelves filled with books and unique illustrations showcasing local history, folklore, and figures from the area. The inviting atmosphere is perfect for socialising with friends and family, or for some quiet time with a book or laptop.”

Pete Hadfield, Leasing and Asset Manager at Multi-Realm, commented:

“Trentham Shopping Village is thriving and we are experiencing high demand for space within the village. The Team at Coffee#1 have done a fantastic job in crafting a very welcoming environment and the shoppers at Trentham Shopping Village have been doing the rest and voting with their feet. With exceptionally high levels of visitor frequency Trentham has become a destination that now commands interest from national chains – a quarter of footfall this summer has visited more than 4.6 times a month.”
