The Staffordshire Ambassador Network brings organisations and individuals together across the county to put Staffordshire on the map. We have an amazing story to tell, and such a lot to be proud of, but we all need to talk the place up, celebrate our successes; together we need to act as ambassadors for Staffordshire and get our story out there.
Join us this May for an Ambassador Event with a difference
We’ll be heading out into Tamworth for an afternoon that shines a spotlight on placemaking in action. This unique event offers a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow ambassadors, explore Tamworth’s evolving story, and hear directly from the leaders driving the town’s future.
What to Expect

Learn about the town’s ambitious plans to reshape and re-energise its historic centre – once the capital of the Anglo-Saxon Kingdom of Mercia. - Hear from South Staffordshire College
Gain insights into the brand-new Tamworth campus at the heart of the town and how it is supporting local skills and growth. - Explore Tamworth’s rich heritage and culture
Join us for a guided walk-and-talk tour through key locations, including a visit to Tamworth Castle, one of the UK’s most impressive motte-and-bailey castles. - Enjoy a visit to the award-winning Tamworth Tap
Round off the afternoon at CAMRA’s Pub of the Year, with refreshments served following the event.
