Celebrating achievements of Staffordshire Ambassadors

As International Women’s day approaches, we wanted to share some of the achievements of a number of our Staffordshire Ambassadors who have recently been in the spotlight.

The British Ceramic Federation has announced that Hannah Ault, Managing Director at Valentine Clays and Chair of our Place Board is going to become the new Vice-President of their Board of Directors in June.  Hannah will become the first female to take on the role. A fantastic achievement!

Another of our Place Board Members, Josie Morris MBE, MD of Woolcool has also been in the news following her first TEDx talk at Staffordshire University earlier this month. Josie is a passionate advocate for creativity, diversity and the development of strong cultures within businesses and championing environmental responsibility and awareness. Watch Josie’s TEDx talk.

At the beginning of the year, Staffordshire Chambers CEO Sara Williams and We Are Staffordshire Ambassador was awarded an OBE in the 2023 New Year Honours list in recognition of her service to the community in Staffordshire.

Sara said: “I am humbled and, at the same time, enormously proud to receive this honour.

“It is a source of constant joy and privilege to be able to support businesses and communities in Staffordshire and I want to thank my incredible team who help and inspire me every day.”

Finally, congratulations to another Staffordshire Ambassador, Eve Davies ProtectaPet Co-Founder, who has been elected onto the Board of Directors at Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce.

Well done to all of these inspiring women who are fantastic advocates for our county!
