Burton graphic design agency celebrates 20 years in business
FUSE4, a Burton-based graphic design agency, is celebrating its 20th year in business, following two decades of providing design solutions for clients ranging from start-ups to global brands.
Managing Director Scott Pettingale took over the business in 2004 and has since grown FUSE4 into a trusted print and digital design provider. Having held previous graphic design roles at Sprint Origination and River, Scott’s background in traditional graphic design, coupled with his ability to pivot into the fast-evolving world of digital marketing, have been key to the agency’s sustained success.
Scott says: “We’re incredibly proud to have reached this 20-year milestone. It’s been a real journey – from learning our trade on old-school software and producing mainly printed brochures and catalogues back when I first began, to now building engaging websites and running full-scale digital marketing campaigns for our clients. At the heart of it, our focus has always remained the same: to provide honest, straightforward design that doesn’t need explaining.”
In 2011, Mark Latham, who Scott had previously worked with during his time at River, joined FUSE4 full-time as a Graphic Designer, and has played an instrumental role in expanding the agency’s capabilities. Today, FUSE4 offers a wide range of services including graphic design, web design, SEO, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
Alongside its growth, FUSE4 remains deeply connected to its local roots. The agency has a long history of supporting local causes, and this year selected the Eagles Nest Project as its chosen charity. Based at The Old Vicarage, Branston, the Eagles Nest Project helps young people aged 11-18 who have experienced difficulties in mainstream education. FUSE4 has provided the charity with a complete rebrand, new website and a flip-page impact report, all free of charge.
“Reflecting on the last 20 years, it’s clear to me that FUSE4 has always been about people – not just our clients, but also the community we’re part of,” said Scott. “We care about our clients’ businesses as if they were our own, and we’ve built some fantastic, genuine friendships over the years. It’s been a privilege to be part of so many journeys.”
