Business support gears up with Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub
Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub is on hand to link enterprising businesses to a wide range of growth opportunities, in line with the Government’s new ambition for SMEs.
The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is placing regional Growth Hubs across England into a core services group, with a focus on simplifying the business support system to drive growth and innovation.
Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub is investing in resources and teams across the county, to ensure local businesses can tap into a wealth of support, initiatives and programmes to help them thrive.
That includes the appointment of seven dedicated business advisors, as well as a range of fully-funded events and workshops addressing subjects that entrepreneurs have suggested are of most value to them.
Rachel Wood, Manager at Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub, said: “The Government has given Growth Hubs a prominent role in delivering the support SMEs need to grow, under its new Business Growth Service.
“It’s a great opportunity to work collectively with our partners across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire to help SMEs thrive.
“Key to the delivery of our services and support is the work of our business advisors, who are able to help entrepreneurs develop a strategic approach to growth.
“They can also signpost to the business support, resources and events provided through our network of more than 120 referral partners in the public and private sector.”
