Dance away the afternoon in Aspects at the National Memorial Arboretum

The National Memorial Arboretum, within the National Forest in Staffordshire, is hosting a pair of Vintage Tea Dances over the Early May Bank Holiday weekend. On entering the Aspects events building, people will step back in time to enjoy upbeat live music, dance lessons and a delicious homemade afternoon tea as part of this popular returning experience.

Couples and groups of friends can choose from either Ballroom dancing on 29 April or Jive and Swing on 30 April, with each themed session incorporating entertaining and easy-to-follow dance lessons set to period music.

The Vintage Tea Dances will feature musical performances by Tony and the Sapphires, who will be playing a selection of vintage tunes, creating the perfect atmosphere for everyone to dance the afternoon away.

“Returning for another year, our Vintage Tea Dance experience transports people on a musical journey to yesteryear,” said Faye Brant-Key, Group Sales and Bookings Co-ordinator. “Visitors can put on their dancing shoes, participate in lessons from our fabulous instructors, enjoy live music and tuck into a selection of delicious homemade treats in Aspects, our award-winning events building at the Arboretum.”

The Vintage Tea Dance costs £31.50 per adult (groups of 10+ persons reduced to £29.95) and must be booked in advance. To learn more about the Vintage Tea Dance and to book tickets, please visit: https://www.thenma.org.uk/what’s-on/events-exhibitions-and-talks/events/vintage-tea-dance
