Enjoy a Willow Animal Trail in the gardens, Valentine’s photo opportunities in the Shopping Village, and Gandeys Circus in the Big Top
This February half-term, Trentham is the perfect place for a family day out, with a fantastic line-up of events running from Friday 14th – Sunday 23rd February. Whether you’re looking to explore the outdoors, enjoy a day out shopping, or experience live entertainment at the circus, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Willow Animal Trail | 14th – 23rd February 2025
Take a stroll around Trentham’s mile-long lake, and spot beautifully crafted willow animal sculptures hidden along the Willow Animal Trail. Each sculpture represents a different animal, with interesting facts to discover along the way. A great way for families and nature lovers to spend time outdoors this half-term.
Visitors can also enjoy Willow Weaving Sessions led by Trentham’s Wildlife Ranger between 11am and 12pm on Tuesday 18th, Wednesday 19th, and Thursday 20th February. These take place in Trentham’s tipi, and are free with gardens admission.
The Willow Animal Trial is included in gardens admission, and is free to Trentham members. For more information, visit trentham.co.uk.

‘With Love, Signed Trentham’ Shopping Village Trail | 14th – 22nd February 2025
The ‘With Love, Signed Trentham’ Shopping Village Trail offers a chance to explore Trentham Shopping Village with a series of photo-friendly signs inspired by road signs – to celebrate friendship and connection this Valentine’s Day. Whether you’re capturing a moment with loved ones or simply enjoying the atmosphere, this free event adds a touch of fun to your shopping trip.
Plus on Saturday 15th February, cupid walkabout characters will be roaming the Shopping Village and posing for the photos with visitors.

Gandeys Circus: The Carnival Spectacular | 14th February – 2nd March 2025
For those looking for live entertainment, Gandeys Circus is bringing its 2025 Carnival Spectacular to Trentham Shopping Village. Featuring world-class performers, breathtaking acrobatics, and plenty of surprises, it’s a show that promises excitement for all ages.
