FLOORING RETAILER INVESTS £150,000 IN NEW BURTON-ON-TRENT STORE
A national flooring retailer has added Burton-on-Trent to its list of UK locations following the recent opening of a new store.
Flooring Superstore has invested £150,000 in the new 3,100 square foot store on Horninglow Road, Burton.
This is the retailer’s 47th UK store and the second to open in Staffordshire in the space of a few months after a 4,000 square foot store opened in Cannock in January.
Creating three new jobs, the new store, which opened on 28th April and is in a unit previously occupied by Bathstore, forms part of an expansion programme being carried out by Flooring Superstore, which started life on a purely ecommerce platform in 2012.
Flooring Superstore Regional Manager Simon Forrester said: “After opening our first store in Staffordshire in January, it’s great to be able to follow this up so soon with another and for Burton to be our newest location.
“We couldn’t have selected a better location close to the town centre but also on the busy Horninglow Road and just seconds from the A35, giving us a very visible presence.
“We’ve already had great footfall into the store and are excited about introducing even more shoppers to our fantastic range of flooring products.”
Visitors to the store have access to a wide range of quality flooring such as carpets, vinyl, laminate, real wood, luxury vinyl tiles, ceramic tiles, decking and the UK’s largest selection of artificial grass.
