Food lovers invited to get ready for a winter feast in Newcastle

‘Castle Food & Drink Fest returns to Newcastle-under-Lyme on Saturday December 14th – this time with a side of Christmas cheer!

Taking place from 2-7pm, the food festival, located on the Ironmarket and High Street, promises an afternoon and evening filled with mouth watering food, holiday tipples, artisan gifts, free family activities and live music.

Delivered in collaboration between Newcastle-under-Lyme BID and Independent Street, Castle Winter Food & Drink Fest builds on the success of the August Bank Holiday food festival.

What to Expect:

  • Hot food traders offering seasonal street food including toasties, seasonal dumplings, bubble waffles, mulled wine and much more
  • Artisan foodies perfect for Christmas gifts including biltong, fudges and festive cheeses and chutneys
  • Handcrafted holiday gifts including candles and handmade jewellery
  • Children’s holiday activities and crafts Christmas ornament making and a special visit from much loved characters
  • Sweet and savoury smores cooking over fire experience with Fern and Fable
  • Live music and giveaways with Dan Townley from 6 Towns Radio

Christmas is such a special family time, and we are looking forward to putting on a great winter event for you to enjoy. The day will be packed full of festive food, creativity, vibrancy, a few surprises and activities for the whole family. Expect winter warmers, cheeky tipples and festive treats.
