Fresh Shoots celebrates a successful first year

Staffordshire video production company Fresh Shoots is celebrating its first birthday in November after a fantastic first year working with national brands, local businesses, charities and community organisations.
Founded by three experienced filmmakers, Glyn Chapman, Sam Wood and Richard Edmunds, the company has worked with household names including M&S, Lidl and Parkdean Resorts, alongside projects spanning the rail, banking and facilities management sectors.
Closer to home, Fresh Shoots has produced films for Dougie Mac, documented creative projects involving young people for Partners in Creative Learning, and worked with local arts organisation Wild Edge Arts. The team is also producing a film celebrating Stoke-on-Trent’s culture and heritage for the City Council.
With turnover forecast to finish well ahead of initial projections, the three directors are delighted with their first year’s progress.
Glyn Chapman, co-founder of Fresh Shoots, said:
“It’s been a brilliant first year. We’ve worked with some fantastic people on a huge variety of projects, and we’ve had a lot of fun along the way.“We’ve got years of experience between us, and we want our clients to benefit from that, not just in the films we make but in the ideas we bring and the way we work together. We listen, get to know what people are trying to achieve and put a lot of thought and care into every project.
“And we think filmmaking should be fun! Creativity is something to enjoy, and we want our clients to enjoy the experience just as much as we do.”
The team is now looking forward to building on its first year’s success, continuing to work with organisations of all sizes across Staffordshire and beyond.
