Gold Seal success for Aston Marina

Staffordshire waterside eatery and events venue Aston Marina is celebrating having been once again recognised in the 2024/25 Good Food Awards.

The awards, founded in 2002, celebrate and acknowledge culinary diversity throughout the United Kingdom and this will be the 5th year Aston Marina has won recognition. Bar & Restaurant No,26 which prides itself on producing seasonal menus inspired by the best locally-sourced ingredients has once again won the coveted Gold Seal Award. This is the highest accolade, awarded only to venues that have maintained their status for over three years.

Director, Helen Clayton, says:

“We are once again over the moon to have been recognised in the Good Food Awards, ranking among the very best independent restaurants from across the country. What makes these awards so special is that they take account of the whole visitor experience – rating food quality, service and value – so it really is testament to the hard work of our whole team that we continue to reach the very high standards demanded by the Good Food Awards judging panel.”

And it’s not just restaurant No.26 that is being recognised in industry awards – the marina’s exclusive use wedding and events venue, The Boat House, has again been named a regional finalist in The Wedding Industry Awards’ Event Team of the Year category. The winner will be decided by public vote, with couples who have married at shortlisted venues and wedding guests invited to vote for their favourite. The winners will be announced in a glittering ceremony on Tuesday 19th November.
