Lichfield Cathedral announce fundraising Gala Dinner
Lichfield Cathedral has announced plans for their 2025 Fundraising Gala Dinner on Friday 16th May, sponsored by Friel Homes.
The biennial dinner has now raised £200,000 for the Cathedral since its inception in 2015. This exclusive black-tie event has been the opportunity over the years to entertain corporately, or friends and colleagues. The Cathedral are grateful for the continuing support of many and look forward to welcoming new faces for this unique dining experience.
For this dinner, a spectacular Fenland Table will be showcased – this 13-metre-long table was created from a section of the nation’s most significant tree, a gigantic 5000-year-old Fenland Black Oak. Seats at the Table hosted by the Dean of Lichfield will be sold @ £175 per person but are limited and on a first-come basis. Tables of ten guests may be secured now for £1,500 or there is the opportunity to purchase tickets@£150 per person.
The event will include a champagne reception, followed by a three-course dinner, cheese course, and coffee, plus an auction and raffle throughout the evening. The dinner will be prepared by Maverick who are long-standing caterers for the event and Cathedral supporters. The proceeds will support the upkeep of the Grade I listed cathedral.
