Lichfield Garrick Theatre’s Christmas Ticket Appeal Calls on Local Businesses to Spread Festive Joy

Lichfield Garrick Theatre is once again gearing up for a magical Christmas season with its “Christmas Ticket Appeal.” This year, they are calling on the support of local businesses to join hands and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who’ve faced adversity in our community.

Cultural experiences hold a special place in our hearts, and they have an undeniable impact on our mental well-being. This Christmas, Lichfield Garrick Theatre is on a mission to bring smiles to the faces of families in our region who have weathered a tough year, whether through trauma, bereavement, illness, or everyday obstacles that limit their access to cultural delights.

“We believe in the power of the arts to uplift and heal, especially during the holiday season,” says Daniel Buckroyd, Artistic Director and CEO at Lichfield Garrick Theatre. “And we know that with the generous support of our local businesses, we can make a real difference to the lives of those in our community.”

Since the inception of this initiative in 2017, over 500 families have been able to attend Lichfield Garrick’s enchanting pantomime, all thanks to the generosity of local businesses. These tickets provide much-needed escapism and magic during the festive season, creating lasting memories for families who otherwise might not have had the opportunity.

This year, Lichfield Garrick Theatre invites all local businesses to become a part of this tradition and bring the joy of the pantomime to those who need it most. By supporting the Christmas Ticket Appeal you can make a profound impact on the lives of families in our community.

If your business is eager to join the Christmas Ticket Appeal and help spread festive cheer, please contact Matt Clay  / 01543 412123.

Individuals can make a donation of any size online or through the Box Office. Tickets will be distributed amongst local charities including Lichfield Foodbank, Spark Burntwood, Lichfield City of Sanctuary, Pathway Project, BLAST and One Lichfield.
