New adventure golf approved for Beacon Park

Visitors to Beacon Park can look forward to an exciting new attraction, as plans for a brand new adventure golf course have been approved.

The current mini golf course, located next to Lakeside Bistro, will be removed this summer and replaced with a vibrant, upgraded 9-hole adventure golf facility. The new course will feature large, eye-catching structures inspired by well-known local landmarks, including Lichfield Cathedral, the Garrick Theatre, Burntwood Climbing Wall, and Beacon Park itself.

The design will bring more colour and creativity, complementing the nearby children’s play area and adding to the park’s appeal for families and visitors of all ages.

Katarina Obranovic-O’Dell, Project Manager at Microsports which is delivering the new adventure golf facility, said: “We are thrilled to bring a new level of fun and adventure to Beacon Park with our new adventure golf course.

“It’s designed for all ages to enjoy – whether you’re a family looking for a day out, friends seeking a bit of friendly competition, or just someone who loves the outdoors. This course adds a fresh, playful energy to the park and we can’t wait to see the community come together to enjoy it.”
