Newcastle under Lyme BID Launches LoveNUL Business Awards Celebrating Local Excellence and Community Spirit

Newcastle under Lyme Business Improvement District (BID) is thrilled to announce the launch of the first-ever LoveNUL Business Awards. This exciting initiative aims to recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions of town centre shops, pubs, restaurants, and service providers while fostering a sense of community and networking opportunities for business owners and employees.

The LoveNUL Business Awards provides the public with the opportunity to show the love for their favourite establishments, service providers and community champions across 15 awards categories and celebrate those that have gone above and beyond to create exceptional experiences for customers and clients.

In addition to honouring shortlisted businesses, the awards evening, that will take place on Friday 15th September at Newcastle-under-Lyme College, will provide attendees with ample opportunities to network and connect with like-minded individuals in the area. This networking aspect of the event is sure to create new business opportunities, collaborations, and friendships that will strengthen Newcastle under Lyme’s business community.

“We are thrilled to introduce the LoveNUL Business Awards, which will honour the unsung heroes of our town centre – the businesses and service providers that consistently deliver exceptional service and enrich the lives of our residents and visitors,” said Charlotte Pearce, Newcastle under Lyme BID Manager.

“This event also presents an ideal platform for us to showcase the BID’s current and future focus for 2023/24, as well as allowing business owners and employees to connect, collaborate, and form valuable partnerships within our community.”

The team behind LoveNUL Business Awards ask the public to show their support and love for their favourite local businesses, whether that’s a restaurant, professional service or tourist attraction by submitting a nomination via our website.

Businesses are also welcome to submit nominations and sing their own praises!

Public nominations for the awards open on Friday 21st July and close on 4th August with nominated businesses being open to a public vote on the 11th August.

Shortlisted businesses will be announced on 30th August with the winners announced during the Awards Evening on Friday 15th September.
