Shining the Limelight on Local Cricket Volunteers

Newcastle under Lyme based creative agency ‘Limelight Marketing Communications’ have announced its sponsorship of The Cricket Heroes Awards, each month honouring the hard work and dedication of the volunteers who are the backbone of Staffordshire Cricket.

The Cricket Heroes Awards also in association with The Cricket Collective provide a brilliant opportunity to celebrate the invaluable contributions of 1000’s of volunteers across the county that work tirelessly during the cricket season, their commitment is vital to the sustainability and success of local cricket clubs all over Staffordshire. Without their support, many clubs would face significant challenges in maintaining their operations and fostering the growth of the sport within the community.

Through this sponsorship, Limelight will help fund the awards and support Staffordshire Cricket in continuing its mission to acknowledge and celebrate the extraordinary volunteers.

“We are proud to be sponsors of such a wonderful initiative,” said Louise Hanson, Director of Limelight Marketing Communications. “As a design agency our main focus is helping businesses to secure their place in the spotlight using our creative skills, so we are honoured to be helping to shine the spotlight on these local volunteers. We look forward to joining the cricket community in applauding their remarkable contributions for their clubs. This partnership shows our commitment to community engagement and collaboration, and our belief in the power of sports and team work to bring people together.”

Staffordshire Cricket’s Head of Club Cricket, Jenny Moore said  “We’re delighted to be working alongside Limelight as our new sponsor for these monthly awards. Recognising the hard work and commitment of our volunteers is fundamental to the work that we do. Limelight are the perfect partner for these awards both in name and in their commitment to Staffordshire and it’s strengths as a county.”
