Show your love for East Staffordshire in new tourism campaign

Staffordshire’s official tourist board is launching a new online campaign to celebrate the Borough of East Staffordshire.

Enjoy Staffordshire has organised Enjoy East Staffs Week (Monday 27th February to Sunday 5th March) to promote reasons to visit the borough, including attractions, beauty spots, restaurants, pubs and places to stay.

The week will feature a photography competition, with tickets for the National Forest Adventure Farm, a brand new production of Pinocchio at the Brewhouse Arts Centre, and the Staffordshire Balloon Fiesta at Uttoxeter Racecourse, up for grabs!

To enter the competition, which opens on Monday 27th February, all people have to do is share their images of the Borough of East Staffordshire on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, with the hashtag #EnjoyEastStaffs, before 5pm on Sunday 5th March.

Alongside the competition, Enjoy Staffordshire’s website will feature content on things to do in the borough, including walks, events and places to eat and drink. A social media campaign using the #EnjoyEastStaffs hashtag will promote what makes East Staffordshire great.

Philip White, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member with responsibility for tourism at Staffordshire County Council, said:

“East Staffordshire is a great place to visit with lots on offer, including national attractions in the National Football Centre at St George’s Park and The National Forest.

“With the National Forest Adventure Farm, Tutbury Castle, Uttoxeter Racecourse, and some beautiful countryside, and a great range of accommodation, restaurants, cafes and retailers too, East Staffordshire offers a wonderful experience for visitors.

“We’re all excited about our latest tourism campaign, which we hope will raise the profile of the area, attract more visitors, and support local businesses.

“The photography competition is a great way of showcasing all the brilliant places to visit and things to do, and I’d urge people to get involved and share their love for East Staffordshire.”
