Staffordshire businesses invited to help shape brighter futures for young people
Staffordshire businesses are being encouraged to partner with local youth organisations and support the next generation after the Staffordshire Council of Voluntary Youth Services (SCVYS) published its 2025-26 Annual Report.
The report showcases the positive impact SCVYS and its network of members have made across Staffordshire, supporting children, young people and families through a wide range of programmes and initiatives.
Working alongside schools, communities and partner organisations, SCVYS has continued to deliver opportunities that help young people develop confidence, skills and resilience, while strengthening the voluntary youth sector across the county.
Now, SCVYS is calling on the county’s business community to get involved and help expand that impact even further.

Supporting a local cause
Businesses looking to strengthen their corporate social responsibility programmes can be matched with a local youth organisation or community project. Partnerships can include sponsorship, fundraising, employee volunteering or other forms of support that create lasting benefits for both organisations and the young people they serve.
Investing in Staffordshire’s future
SCVYS is seeking to grow its endowment fund, managed by the Community Foundation for Staffordshire. The fund provides grants to support local youth organisations and young people’s personal and social development. The ambition is to grow this to create a sustainable source of funding that can benefit young people across the county for years to come.
Exploring new collaborations
Businesses inspired by projects featured in the annual report are encouraged to start a conversation with SCVYS. Whether it’s sharing expertise, developing innovative programmes or exploring new ways of working together, the organisation is keen to hear from partners with ideas and ambitions to support Staffordshire’s young people.
Creating lasting partnerships
SCVYS believes the most successful partnerships are those that deliver value for everyone involved, creating long-term relationships between the voluntary and private sectors that benefit businesses, communities and young people alike.
Work experience
Businesses wanting to support local young people directly through opportunities such as work experience, entry level employment and apprenticeships as a direct response to the rises in young people not in education, employment or training, are encouraged to get in touch.
