Staffordshire sets out ambitions for future investment at business breakfast event

Business leaders, investors and local government leads will explore how Staffordshire can attract its next wave of investment and capitalise on major growth opportunities across advanced manufacturing, logistics and defence sectors at an event next month.

With significant investment activity, major regeneration projects and nationally significant development opportunities, Staffordshire is positioning itself for its next phase of economic growth.

The county’s investment proposition will take centre stage at the Invest Staffordshire breakfast, hosted by Insider Media and Staffordshire Investment Agency at The Octagon, Beaconside, Stafford on Tuesday 17 November 2026.

Senior representatives across advanced manufacturing, logistics and defence sectors will discuss how Staffordshire can build on its success as a leading destination in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) and maximise future investment opportunities.

Panel discussions will look at opportunities linked to major developments such as the £1bn West Midlands Interchange, Europe’s largest logistics site, the £500m Ceramic Matrix Composites manufacturing hub and the £80m strategic commercial site Chatterley Park.

Robin Hall, Staffordshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Economy and Skills, who is speaking at the event, said: ““Staffordshire has the businesses, skills and ambition to attract major investment. Our job is to turn that potential into better jobs, stronger local businesses and more opportunities for our residents.

“We cannot afford to stand still. This event is about bringing decision-makers together, understanding what businesses need and tackling the barriers that hold investment back. I want investors to see Staffordshire as a place where they can build, grow and get things done.”

To book a place and for further details, people should visit Insider Media’s website.

The event is aimed at senior figures from business, local government, property, investment and economic development from across the region and beyond.

It will provide strategic insight, networking opportunities and discussion around the investment opportunities shaping Staffordshire’s future economy.
