Staffordshire showcases investment opportunities at national conference

Staffordshire is showcasing what makes the county a great place to invest at a national conference this week.

A delegation from the county council and its partners has returned to promote Staffordshire at UKREiiF (UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum) in Leeds to over 16,000 attendees.

The three-day event is in its fourth year and brings together local and regional public sector organisations with Government, investors, funders, developers, housebuilders and more. It is being held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Staffordshire’s delegation includes Staffordshire County Council, Stoke-on-Trent City Council and all eight district and borough councils as We Are Staffordshire.

2025 sees another packed year of fringe events, speaking activities and the famous ‘Welcome to Staffordshire’ reception, where attendees can sample local produce including Titanic ales, Halfpenny Green wines, with grapes grown in Staffordshire vineyards, Nelson’s Gin and UKREiiF Staffordshire beer, courtesy of Best of British Beer along with locally produced Just Crisps.

Delegates can find out more about the opportunities available through our Place to Prosper campaign by visiting stand E22.

Thanks to this year’s Staffordshire sponsors are Keele University, Stoford, Indurent, Harworth and Bericote.
