There’s a DINO-sized treat awaiting families down on the farm this Easter!

This Easter, you’ll find plenty of eggs down at Staffordshire’s award-winning Lower Drayton Farm – the twist is, they’ll be dino-sized!

Ahead of the farm’s popular Dino Discover Maize Maze this summer, there’s a new clutch of dino eggs being incubated – and PLAY@ visitors are invited into the farm’s Dino Egg Hatchery as part of their day out over the Easter break. As well as seeing the dino eggs and meeting the farm’s baby dinosaurs, they’ll be treated to a fascinating live show all about reptiles, finding out how they and other modern-day creatures are related to the Jurassic giants.

The Easter fun doesn’t end there – visitors can snap a selfie with Eenie Beanie bunny, take on an Easter scavenger hunt and try to find the elusive Golden Egg to win a return ticket to the farm. Farmer Richard Bower says:

“We were absolutely blown away by the popularity of our Dino Discovery maize Maze last summer – dinosaurs have enduring appeal for all ages, and people are just fascinated by them. The Dino Egg Hatchery event at Easter provides a fun way for kids to learn about dinosaurs and the animals alive today that are related to them. As it’s included within PLAY@ tickets throughout Easter families will be in for a packed day out – exploring our massive playbarns, discovering acres of outdoor adventure play, meeting animals in the large and small animal zones – and hopping on our legendary farm trailer ride which will be back for the summer season from the start of the Easter holidays.”

The farm’s Easter Egg-stravaganza starts a little early, with toddler sessions on Monday 18th and Friday 22nd March with the main event running from Saturday 23rd March through to Sunday 7th April.
