World of Wedgwood Features on Celebrity MasterChef

World of Wedgwood have a made their second television appearance in recent months with an appearance on Celebrity MasterChef 2025, Season 20. The episode aired on Monday 15th December 2025 on BBC One and marked the start of Finals Week.

During the episode, the remaining five celebrity contestants-  led by Cherish Finden, one of the world’s leading pastry chefs- took over the Wedgwood Tea Room at World of Wedgwood to serve afternoon tea on iconic Wedgwood tableware collections, Renaissance and Gio Gold.

Guests served by the celebrity contestants included Wedgwood Ornamenter and Figure Maker, Isabella McGough, Chief Curator of the V&A Wedgwood Collection, Catrin Jones, along with potter Florian Gadsby, ceramicist Hitomi Hosono, Councillor Lynn Sharpe, and Wedgwood descendant Simon Wedgwood.

Chief Curator of the V&A Wedgwood Collection, Catrin Jones, says:

“I was delighted to join a group of makers, Wedgwood craftspeople, Stoke luminaries and Wedgwood family members to celebrate 250 years of Wedgwood’s jasperware with a wonderful meal created by the contestants of Celebrity MasterChef. I’m looking forward to seeing if my favourite wins!”

World of Wedgwood is proud to host Celebrity MasterChef, helping shine a light on the ceramics industry and Stoke-on-Trent’s remarkable heritage. With Wedgwood celebrating 250 years of Jasperware and Stoke-on-Trent celebrating 100 years of official status, it’s the perfect festive viewing for foodies, Wedgwood enthusiasts, and Stokies alike!
